Object and Purpose of the Society
The New York Head & Neck Society, a non-profit organization founded in 1979, stimulates and encourages the exchange and advancement of scientific knowledge relative to the management of head and neck tumors, with emphasis on oncologic extirpative surgery and reconstruction. The Society particularly welcomes interdisciplinary participation and contributions from all of its members. In addition to scientific meetings, an annual social event facilitates informal discussion among peers.
The purpose of this Website is to serve as an information resource for the society, to update its membership on the annual schedule, changes in venues, and to exchange and direct issues regarding patient management. The Society encourages suggestions and comments from the membership via this Website.
